Description:   My Client is a national company that provide supported living for people with learning disabilities. Due, to expansion, they are seeking experienced support workers to work with their services in Coalville, Leicestershire As a support worker, we are looking for individuals with experience in working with individuals with learning / physical disabilities and associated complex needs.. You will be supporting people with everyday tasks in life to further individual's independence and arranging and participating in social activities etc. The successful candidates will be experienced support workers, with NVQ2 or a minimum of 3 years experience working in care, ideally with learning disabilities, challenging behaviours and complex needs The most important skills you can bring to us are life skills - patience, commitment, initiative and understanding Hours are full time and will involce a ri=olling rota f earlies, lates and waking nights Driving and own transport is essential. Some of the service users have mobility vehicles and so for insurance reasons, applicants must be over 25 years old with a clean driving licence for a manual car. For personal care reasons, all applicants must be female Rates - £6.50 - £6.95 per hour depending on experience

The company is particularly interested in candidates who are willing to work waking nights. Rates - £6.62 per hour for Monday to Saturday, and £7.48 per hour for Sundays for candidate without NVQ qualifications - £6.72 per hour for Monday to Saturday, and £7.58 per hour for Sundays for candidate with NVQ qualifications - sleep ins are paid at a flat rate of £25.75 per night
